Other Information

The Fireground channels are used by all of the departments in Madison County.  Fireground Channel 3 is used the most.  4 and 6 are very rarely used.  Also, that is not a typo in the frequencies columns for the fireground channels.  3 and 4 are the same frequencies with different PLs.  The same applies for 5 and 6.

* Pleasant Valley covers one township in Union County, as well as three townships in Madison County.  Calls originating in Union County are dispatched on this frequency, and re-dispatched by Madison County.  Radio Traffic is repeated on both frequencies.

Plain City sits in both Madison and Union Counties.  They use Union County SO as their primary dispatchers.  But since 911 calls in the Madison County half of Plain City go to MCSO, Plain City PD is also dispatched by Madison.

* This is Plain City's car-to-car/tac channel.  This channel is refered to as 19a --as in code 19 (contact by phone) a(tac channel) --by them.
